2-0 Up to the Aussies. YEESSSSSSS!

December 7, 2006

Just a few days ago the Aussies went 2-0 up against “Freddie and friends” at the Adelaide Oval. It was a great match. I don’t think it was as good as Edgbaston last year when the poms won by 2 runs but it was better because the Aussies won this one! Micheal Hussey hit the winning runs after “Freddie and friends” made 6/552dec in their first innings. Ponting made another ton to put him in the record books as making the most centuries for Australia passing the great Sir Donald Bradman. It was a great match and can the Aussies win back that small, not even as big as Mr P’s hand? I certainly hope so. C’mon Aussie C’mon, C’mon! Go the AUSSIES!

Cricket Feaver Is Here!

November 22, 2006

Today [23/11/06] the 3 Mobile Ashes series starts at the Gabba in Brisbane. This is the reason I love Summer! CRICKET! Last years series held in England was one of the most thriling Ashes ever, even the best. And every one knows about that famous test at Edgbaston when the Aussies needed 3 to win after coming back from the dead and the Micheal Kaspervic got out and we lost by 2 runs. That is why me and Dad have been looking forward to this series for 3 months now and it is finally here. My bedroom has turned into a cricket frenzy with posters and everything. I have been collecting the Ashes pins with the Herald Sun. There are 15 and today the 9th comes out. The 1st one was Shane Warne then Ricky Ponting. And we will try and get tickets to the first one day final at the MCG.. They are for day 3. Mind you, it might be over by then! [Maybe not]. Here are some websites that you can go to and get up to date scores.

My New Do!

November 16, 2006

Yesterday afternoon I went for a hair cut. My Nanna said that she wanted it to be like when I came back from England, which was a number 3 but it had grown a bit so, three and a half, I went with that. At the end there were two things I could not believe. Number 1: There was mountains of hair on the ground! Number 2: It was a number 3 but it more looked like a number 2. It makes the back of my head cold now because there is hardly any hair!

Mr P The Techno Man!

November 14, 2006

In Middle P we are very Lucky to have Mr Pearce and this is the reason why. He got us 8 Ipods from a women named Rita. We were all overwhelmed. We have got a great thing called a Macintosh, Mac for short. And the biggest one of all, the Smartboard. It is a huge screen, just bigger than a plasma screen in width and it it big. I works like a normal computer. It is connected to a computer and it shows what the computer shows. It is awesome. We are so lucky.

What’s Up Pussie Cat?

November 11, 2006

“Phew”!, I exclaimed after I had just heard some very, very good news. Yesterday, [Saturday the 11/06] mum and myself were in panic. But just 1 hour later Sashen, [the cat], was given the all clear. All the vet did was get a needle and put it into her and he said that was just 3 antibiotics, and then he gave her a tablet. The vet just said, if she is still lame after 3 days bring her back in. But right now, as I’m typing this on the laptop, Sashen is right next to me on my bed. I’m just glad she will be alright.

Remembrance Day

November 11, 2006

On the 11/11/06 at 11:00, most Australians stop to remember the solders who died and fought in the first 2 wars. Some people wear poppys on there chest to commemorate, the people because after the war, poppies started to grow on the battle field. Remembrance Day used to be called, Armistice Day. Armistice means stop fighting, so it was stop fighting day.

Paw, paw pussie cat.

November 10, 2006

Today, Mum and I awoke to a disturbing discovery. My pussie cat, Sashen had been in a cat fight and she was asleep. When we woke her up she had he leg slightly up in the air and the paw was tucked in. We think it’s either her paw or the leg it’s self. The reason we went to see her in the first place is, there was this stuff that looked liked blood over Mum’s new bed [she isn’t to happy about it either] and so we we went to see her. We are waiting till the vets open then we will hope she will be OK.

Our New Topic!

November 9, 2006

Every term our school gets a new topic. In first term we had Australian history and last term we had space. This is our new topic. Our new topic is MATTER, in other words science. The things we learn about in this topic are, Atoms, Molecules, and the main things are Liquid, Gas, [not the type that is disturbing like the ones that come out of your body], Solids and Plasma. To tell you the truth we haven’t learnt much about plasma yet. But I think all of us think this will be a great term for science.

Christmas Catalogue

November 9, 2006

Since there are only 5 weeks and 2 days till the end of term, which in my case is cool, we will be raising money for poorer countries like Bangladesh, Sudan and other places. We will raise money to buy a few things. We have to help around the house and do jobs like that to raise some money. Last year I remember that we set a target and we got it and raised a bit more. We will look for a few things Mosquito nets, a goat and other stuff. We are raising money for World Vision and TEAR. It will be fun.  Christmas catalogue

Famous Again!

November 8, 2006

This past week, Middle P got more half famous [and by that I mean we didn’t get on T.V, but we did once before]. We got in a newspaper for teachers called the ’Education Times’. It got us mentioned for Middle P Pratlings and Terry.
